Review: Fallen In Love by Lauren Kate
3rd Book Review of 2012
Author: Lauren Kate
Look at Luce! She is so beautiful! She has that longing look on her face. Beautiful background. My full praise to Fernanda Brussi, the artist in the Fallen series covers. :)
Unexpected. Unrequited. Forbidden. Eternal. Everyone has their own love story.
And in a twist of fate, four extraordinary love stories combine over the course of a romantic Valentine's Day in Medieval England. Miles and Shelby find love where they least expect it. Roland learns a painful lesson about finding-and losing love. Arianne pays the price for a love so fierce it burns. And for the first -and last- time, Daniel and Luce will spend a night together like none other.
Lauren Kate's FALLEN IN LOVE is filled with love stories . . . the ones everyone has been waiting for.
True love never says goodbye . . .
I absolutely loved it! The first day that I had my hands on it . . .I finished it! I couldn't put it down. Since, there wasn't really any plot in this book except for love stories I completely loved it! I was expecting the worse due to Passion's, Book 3 in the Fallen series, repetitiveness in Luce and Daniel's romances but Lauren has redeemed herself in Fallen In Love. At least, partly. Fallen In Love shows Shelby+Miles, Roland's, Arriane's, and, of course, Luce+Daniel Valentine's Day! I am not a fan of the Shelby and Miles get-together. Anyone who has read Torment, Book 2 in the Fallen series, can see they will end up together but what really caught my attention and praise was Roland's and Arriane's Valentine's Day love story. I never expected that to happen. I was in complete awe every time I turned a page.
I cried in all of the Valentine's Day love stories. I only cried in Roland's love story. Lauren Kate can certainly write love stories and I give her, without hesitation, an A+!
